Protect Starlink from hail damage

Looking at the net, Starlink antennas are quite vulnerable to dents, chips and scratches. The size of a golf ball hail can easily dent or break the surface of any Starlink plate, putting it out of service until a replacement plate arrives.

Being without internet for days or even weeks is not acceptable, so what can be done about it?
